Silke Dammerer

Silke Dammerer is an Austrian politician and farmer who serves as a member of the Landtag of Lower Austria. Born in Steyr, she operates a farm in Ybbs an der Donau alongside her husband. Dammerer gained public attention for her vocal advocacy for agricultural interests, often criticizing perceived disparagement of the farming profession in media and government communications. In addition to her legislative duties, she serves as the state chairwoman of the 'Wir Niederösterreichinnen' organization, which is the women's branch of the Austrian People's Party in Lower Austria.
