Alexander Pröll

Alexander Pröll is an Austrian politician serving as a State Secretary in the Chancellery since March 2025. A member of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP), he previously held significant roles within the party, including Federal Managing Director from 2022 to 2025 and Secretary General in early 2025. Pröll holds a master's degree in economic law from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Throughout his career, he has worked in the cabinets of several Austrian Chancellors, including Sebastian Kurz, Alexander Schallenberg, and Karl Nehammer, focusing on economic policy and inter-governmental coordination. In his current role, he has led initiatives regarding digital sovereignty and the modernization of digital public services.
