Silvia Fregolent

Silvia Fregolent is an Italian politician currently serving as a member of the Senate of the Republic. Born in Turin, she holds a degree in law and previously worked as a legal consultant. Fregolent began her political career as a provincial councilor in Turin before being elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 2013 and 2018 as a member of the Democratic Party. In 2019, she joined Italia Viva, a centrist and liberal party founded by Matteo Renzi. She was elected to the Senate in 2022, where she serves as a group leader in the Environment and Energy Commission.
