Simona Bucura-Oprescu

Simona Bucura-Oprescu is a Romanian politician and economist currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies. A long-standing representative for Argeș County, she has been elected to the Romanian Parliament for four consecutive terms since 2012. She previously served as the Minister of Labor and Social Solidarity from July 2023 to June 2025. Throughout her parliamentary career, she has held significant leadership roles, including the presidency of the Commission for Public Administration and Territorial Planning.
