Sjors Fröhlich is a Dutch politician and former media professional who has served as the non-partisan mayor of Vijfheerenlanden since November 2019. Before entering politics, he enjoyed a long career in broadcasting, working as a radio and television presenter for the NCRV and later as editor-in-chief of BNR Nieuwsradio. Known for his advocacy in public media reform, he served on the Van Rijn commission investigating social safety in the broadcasting sector. In 2025, he was nominated for a second term as mayor.
