İsmail Ok is a Turkish politician and educator currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Born in 1964 in Kepsut, Balıkesir, he worked as a teacher for 21 years before entering politics. He served as the Mayor of Balıkesir from 2009 to 2014. Throughout his political career, he has been affiliated with the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), the İYİ Party, and currently the Justice and Development Party (AK Party), which he joined in 2022. He has held various parliamentary roles, including membership in the Committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Affairs.
