Sophia Leonidakis

Sophia Leonidakis is a German politician and a member of the Bremische Bürgerschaft, where she has served since 2015 and currently acts as the parliamentary group leader for The Left. She holds degrees in political management and European and World Politics from universities in Bremen and Istanbul. Before her election, she worked as a research assistant for the parliamentary group of The Left. Her political career is defined by a strong focus on social justice, particularly in the areas of homelessness, migration, and anti-discrimination. She is notably recognized as the initiator of the 'Housing First' model project in Bremen and remains active in various social and youth welfare committees.
