Sofia Voultepsi is a Greek politician and member of the Hellenic Parliament representing the New Democracy party. Born in Piraeus, she is the daughter of the prominent journalist Yannis Voultepsis. Before entering politics, she worked as a journalist. Voultepsi was first elected to the Hellenic Parliament in 2004 for the Athens B constituency. She holds the distinction of being the first female Government Spokesperson in the government of Antonis Samaras. She studied at the Italian School of Athens and the Athens Law School, where she focused on public law and political sciences.
