Sonny Leong, Baron Leong

Sonny Leong, Baron Leong, is a British businessman and Labour Party politician who has served as a member of the House of Lords since 2022. Before entering national politics, he co-founded Cavendish Publishing in 1990, which grew into the largest independent law publisher in the United Kingdom before its sale in 2006. He previously chaired the organization Chinese for Labour and was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 2014 for his political service. In July 2024, he was appointed as a Government Whip in the House of Lords.
