Srečko Ocvirk

Srečko Ocvirk is a Slovenian politician and agronomist currently serving as a member of the National Assembly of Slovenia. Before his election to the national parliament in 2026, he served as the mayor of Sevnica for nearly two decades, having first been elected to the position in 2008 following the death of his predecessor. Ocvirk began his career in the agricultural sector, working in fruit growing and plant protection before entering local politics as a municipal councilor in 1998. He also served as a member of the National Council of Slovenia representing local communities in the Posavje region starting in 2017.
