Andrej Kiska is a Slovak politician, entrepreneur, and philanthropist who served as the fourth President of Slovakia from 2014 to 2019. Before entering politics, he was a successful businessman who co-founded the hire-purchase companies Triangel and Quatro, and later established the charitable organization Dobrý anjel (Good Angel) to support families facing financial hardship due to serious illness. Running as an independent candidate, he won the 2014 presidential election. Following his presidency, he founded the political party Za Ľudí (For the People) and served as its leader before retiring from active politics in 2020. He has authored books on business, philanthropy, and personal development.
