Stan Kitzman

Stan Kitzman is an American politician who served as a member of the Texas House of Representatives for the 85th district from 2023 to 2026. A graduate of Texas A&M University, he previously served in the Texas Army National Guard for 21 years, retiring with the rank of staff sergeant. Kitzman was first elected to the state legislature in 2022 after defeating opponents in both the primary and general elections. He was unseated in the 2026 Republican primary by Dennis Geesaman.
