Stanley Chang

Stanley Chang is an American politician serving as a member of the Hawaii State Senate, representing the 9th district since 2016. Raised in Honolulu, he attended Harvard Law School before beginning his career as an attorney. Prior to his election to the Senate, he served on the Honolulu City Council, where he focused on infrastructure and sustainability. A prominent housing advocate, Chang is known for his work on the 'ALOHA Homes' initiative, which seeks to increase affordable housing supply through high-density, state-led development.
