Chupu Stanley Mathabatha is a South African politician serving as a Member of the National Assembly and as the Deputy Minister of Land Reform and Rural Development since July 2024. A long-time member of the African National Congress (ANC) and the South African Communist Party, he previously served as the Premier of Limpopo from 2013 to 2024. Before his tenure as Premier, Mathabatha worked as a civil servant and served as the South African Ambassador to Ukraine from 2012 to 2013. Throughout his career, he has been a prominent figure in Limpopo provincial politics, having also served as the ANC Provincial Chairperson for the region.
