Michael Bagraim

Michael Bagraim is a South African politician and labour lawyer who has served as a member of the National Assembly since 2014. A member of the Democratic Alliance, he has held various shadow cabinet positions, including Shadow Minister of Labour and Shadow Deputy Minister of Labour and Employment. Educated at Rhodes University, Bagraim previously established his own legal practice and has been active in business and community organizations. He is a vocal critic of South Africa's existing labour legislation, arguing that it has failed to effectively stimulate job creation or support the workforce during crises.
