Ștefan Tanasă is a Romanian politician and engineer serving as a Member of the Chamber of Deputies since 2024, representing the Save Romania Union (USR). Born in Iași in 1990, he earned a degree in energy engineering and master's degrees in energy management and environmental studies, as well as criminology. He previously served as a county councilor in Iași, subprefect of Iași County in 2021, and became the president of the USR Iași county branch in the same year.
