Stefan Taschner

Stefan Taschner is a German politician and geographer serving as a member of the Abgeordnetenhaus of Berlin. Born in 1969 in Bamberg, he holds a doctorate in physical geography and previously worked in sustainable mobility and climate research. Before entering parliament, he was an active campaigner for environmental and climate protection organizations, including the Berliner Energietisch. He joined the Green Party in 2014 and has been a member of the Berlin state parliament since 2016, with a brief interruption in 2022.
