Steffen Bilger

Steffen Bilger is a German politician who has served as a member of the Bundestag for the constituency of Ludwigsburg since 2009. A member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), he previously held the position of Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure from 2018 to 2021. Throughout his parliamentary career, Bilger has focused on transport policy, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure development. Following the 2025 federal elections, he assumed the role of chief whip for his parliamentary group. Beyond his legislative duties, he serves on the boards of several foundations and advisory councils, including the Federal Agency for Civic Education.
