Steffen Kotré

Steffen Kotré is a German politician and a member of the Bundestag, representing the state of Brandenburg since 2017. Born in East Berlin in 1974, he studied engineering management and joined the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party in 2013. Throughout his parliamentary career, Kotré has been known for his opposition to the scientific consensus on climate change and his critical stance on German foreign policy, including weapon deliveries to Ukraine. He has also drawn public attention for his appearances on international media programs that have been characterized as aligned with Russian state narratives.
