Stella Christie is an Indonesian academic, cognitive scientist, and politician currently serving as the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology. Born in Medan, she pursued an extensive international academic career, earning a bachelor's degree from Harvard University and a PhD from Northwestern University. Before entering government, she held a professorship at Tsinghua University, where she directed the Child Cognition Center and led the Tsinghua Laboratory of Brain and Intelligence.
