Andi Amran Sulaiman is an Indonesian politician and businessman currently serving as the Minister of Agriculture. Born in Bone, South Sulawesi, he holds multiple degrees in agricultural science from Hasanuddin University. Before entering government, he founded the Tiran Group, a conglomerate with interests in agriculture and logistics. He first served as Minister of Agriculture from 2014 to 2019 under President Joko Widodo and returned to the position in 2023. Throughout his career, he has focused on achieving national food self-sufficiency in key commodities such as rice, corn, and soybeans.
