Steve Edgington

Steve Edgington is an Australian politician serving as a member of the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly for the seat of Barkly. Before entering parliament, he moved to the Northern Territory in 1988 to join the police force, eventually serving in senior roles in Tennant Creek. He also served as the mayor of the Barkly Regional Council. Edgington was elected to the Legislative Assembly in 2020 as a representative of the Country Liberal Party, securing his seat following a competitive count.
