Steve Malagari is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 53rd district, a position he has held since 2019. Before his election to the state legislature, he served on the Lansdale Borough Council starting in 2012 and was a member of the Montgomery County Transportation Authority. A graduate of Ursinus College with a degree in Biology and German, Malagari made history by becoming the first Democrat to hold his current seat since 1972.
