Steve McGhie is an Australian politician who has served as a member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly for the seat of Melton since November 2018. A member of the Labor Party, he was appointed as the Parliamentary Secretary for Health in the Andrews' Government in December 2020. Prior to his parliamentary career, McGhie worked as the state secretary of Ambulance Employees Australia – Victoria. He has announced that he will not seek re-election at the 2026 Victorian state election.
