Steven Horsford

Steven Horsford is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Nevada's 4th congressional district since 2019, having previously held the seat from 2013 to 2015. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served in the Nevada State Senate, where he became the first African American to serve as Majority Leader. Horsford has held leadership roles, including chair of the Congressional Black Caucus from 2023 to 2025. Throughout his career, he has focused on issues such as healthcare access, gun control, and economic policy, consistently advocating for the expansion of federal support programs and the protection of civil rights.
