Steven Kelly

Steven Kelly is an American politician and former law enforcement officer serving as a member of the Montana House of Representatives for the 9th district. Elected in 2024 after defeating his opponent with 74% of the vote, he currently serves on the House Judiciary and House Human Services committees. A conservative Republican, Kelly has focused his platform on opposing property taxes, addressing illegal immigration as a federal security concern, and advocating for reform regarding political bias within the Montana Supreme Court. Prior to his legislative career, he served as a Sheriff's Deputy in Washoe County, Nevada, and holds a Master's degree in Management.
