Stientje van Veldhoven is a Dutch politician and former government official who served as the Minister for the Environment and Housing from 2019 to 2021. A member of the Democrats 66 (D66) party, she previously served as the State Secretary for Infrastructure and Water Management and was a long-time member of the House of Representatives. Throughout her political career, she focused on climate policy, energy, environmental protection, and international development. She left politics in 2021 to become the Vice President and Director of the World Resources Institute Europe.
