Stuart Andrew is a British Conservative Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Daventry since 2024. Previously, he represented Pudsey from 2010 to 2024. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has held various ministerial roles, including Minister of State for Housing and Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Equalities. In July 2025, he was appointed Shadow Secretary of State for Health and Social Care. Before entering national politics, Andrew served as a local councillor in Wrexham and Leeds and worked in the charitable sector. He is openly gay and has been a vocal advocate for LGBT+ rights within his party.
