Sultan Al Neyadi

Sultan Al Neyadi is an Emirati politician and astronaut who serves as the UAE Minister of State for Youth Affairs. A former network security engineer in the UAE Armed Forces, he gained international recognition as one of the first two Emirati astronauts. In 2023, he became the first Arab to serve on the International Space Station for a six-month mission and the first Arab astronaut to perform a spacewalk. He holds a PhD in information technology and has been a prominent advocate for scientific research and youth development in the UAE.
