Sumer Singh Solanki

Sumer Singh Solanki is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Rajya Sabha representing Madhya Pradesh. Before his entry into national politics, he worked as an assistant professor of history in Barwani, Madhya Pradesh. Solanki has a long-standing history of social activism, particularly focusing on the upliftment of tribal communities through his work with the Vanwasi Kalyan Parishad. He was elected to the Rajya Sabha in 2020 with the support of the Bharatiya Janata Party and is noted for his advocacy regarding tribal welfare and regional development.
