Seon-gyo Kim is a South Korean politician currently serving as a member of the 22nd National Assembly, representing the Yeoju-si and Yangpyeong-gun constituency. He previously served as the 38th, 39th, and 40th Mayor of Yangpyeong County from 2007 to 2018, becoming the youngest three-term local government head in the region's history. Kim began his career as a local civil servant in Yangpyeong before entering politics. Throughout his career, he has been involved in various legislative committees, including the Agriculture, Food, Rural Affairs, Oceans and Fisheries Committee. His political tenure has been marked by both significant local administrative experience and various legal controversies regarding election law and political funding, for which he has faced multiple investigations and judicial proceedings.
