Sureena Brackenridge

Sureena Brackenridge is a British Labour Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Wolverhampton North East since July 2024. Born and raised in Wednesfield, she previously worked as a science teacher and deputy head teacher. Brackenridge holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Wolverhampton. In Parliament, she focuses on education policy, apprenticeship training, and the support of disadvantaged neighborhoods, notably securing significant government funding for her constituency in 2025.
