Surinder Kumar Choudhary is an Indian politician currently serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. A member of the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference, he was elected to the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly from the Nowshera constituency in 2024. Before his political career, he worked at the Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu. Choudhary has previously been associated with the Bahujan Samaj Party, the People's Democratic Party, and the Bharatiya Janata Party before joining his current party.
