Surya Man Dong Tamang

Surya Man Dong Tamang is a Nepalese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives of Nepal. Born in Kavrepalanchok District, he has been a long-time figure in left-wing politics, having joined the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) during the civil conflict. He previously served as a member of the 1st Constituent Assembly and held the position of Minister of State for Energy from 2011 to 2012. Throughout his career, he has advocated for prioritizing legislative responsibilities and institutional governance over the distribution of development budgets.
