Sushmita Dev

Sushmita Dev is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Rajya Sabha representing West Bengal. She previously served as a member of the Lok Sabha for Silchar, Assam, following her election in 2014 as a member of the Indian National Congress. Dev is the daughter of veteran politician Santosh Mohan Dev and has held significant roles, including president of the All India Mahila Congress. In 2021, she joined the All India Trinamool Congress, where she currently serves as a national spokesperson.
