Sussan Ley

Sussan Ley is an Australian politician who served as the Member of Parliament for the division of Farrer from 2001 to 2026. A member of the Liberal Party, she held various ministerial portfolios including Minister for Health, Minister for Sport, and Minister for the Environment. In 2025, she made history as the first woman to lead the federal Liberal Party and serve as Leader of the Opposition. She retired from politics in February 2026 following a leadership spill.
