Sven Rissmann

Sven Rissmann is a German politician and member of the Abgeordnetenhaus of Berlin, representing the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). Born in 1978, he studied law at Humboldt University of Berlin and later qualified as a specialist lawyer for insurance law. Rissmann has been a member of the Berlin House of Representatives since 2006, where he has held various leadership roles within the CDU parliamentary group, including serving as parliamentary secretary. Politically, he has been noted for his conservative positions, including his criticism of Angela Merkel's refugee policy and his opposition to the legalization of same-sex marriage.
