Syarif Mbuinga is an Indonesian politician currently serving as a Member of the Regional Representative Council (DPD RI) representing Gorontalo for the 2024–2029 term. He has an extensive political career, previously serving two terms as the Regent of Pohuwato from 2010 to 2015 and 2016 to 2021. Prior to his tenure as regent, he held positions as Chairman of the Pohuwato Regency Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) and as a member of the Gorontalo Provincial DPRD.
