Syed Abu Hussin Hafiz is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Bukit Gantang since 2018. Formerly a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) and the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), he currently serves as an independent politician. In 2023, he declared his support for Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and was subsequently appointed to lead a committee under the National Action Council on the Cost of Living. He previously served as the Chairman of the Fisheries Development Authority of Malaysia.
