Syed Saddiq bin Syed Abdul Rahman is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Muar since 2018. A prominent youth advocate, he served as the Minister of Youth and Sports from 2018 to 2020, becoming the youngest federal minister in Malaysian history at the age of 25. He is a founding member of the Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (MUDA) and was instrumental in the 'Undi18' movement, which successfully lowered the voting age in Malaysia to 18. Known for his background in competitive debating, he has been a vocal critic of government financial allocations and has advocated for pension reforms. Despite facing legal challenges regarding corruption charges, he was acquitted by the Court of Appeal in 2025.
