Szymon Giżyński is a Polish politician serving as a member of the Sejm since 2001. A graduate of Polish philology from the University of Silesia in Katowice, he previously served as the Voivode of Częstochowa from 1997 to 1998. Throughout his career, he has held significant government roles, including Secretary of State in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development from 2018 to 2021 and Secretary of State in the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from 2021 to 2023. He has been a long-standing representative of the Law and Justice party.
