Tabata Amaral is a Brazilian politician and education activist currently serving as a federal deputy for the state of São Paulo. Raised in the Vila Missionária neighborhood of São Paulo, she earned a degree in astrophysics and political science from Harvard University. Before entering politics, she co-founded the education advocacy organizations Movimento Mapa Educação and Acredito. Known for her focus on education reform and progressive policies, she was elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 2018 and has since been a prominent voice in Brazilian legislative debates regarding education and social issues.
