牧野京夫

Takao Makino is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Councillors, representing the Shizuoka electoral district. A graduate of Waseda University, he began his career as a television news reporter before entering politics as a member of the Shizuoka Prefectural Assembly. First elected to the House of Councillors in 2007, he has held various high-level positions, including Minister for Reconstruction and State Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Makino is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party and has been involved in key parliamentary committees, including serving as the Chairman of the Committee on Rules and Administration.
