Tamás Soproni

Tamás Soproni is a Hungarian politician and linguist who has served as the Mayor of Terézváros, the 6th district of Budapest, since 2019. A founding member of the Momentum Movement, he previously served as the party's first vice president and managed its national campaign for the 2018 parliamentary elections. Before entering politics, he worked as a literary translator and linguist. As mayor, his administration has focused on improving public cleanliness, expanding green spaces, reforming local parking, and regulating tourism within the district.
