まつば多美子

Tamiko Matsuba is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly, representing Suginami Ward. First elected in 2005, she has focused her legislative career on child-rearing support, women's empowerment, and social welfare policies. Before entering politics, she worked as a national public servant at Hello Work. A member of the Komeito party, she has served as the party's Policy Research Council Chair in the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly and is known for her advocacy of 'Children First' policies, including the promotion of free childcare and educational support programs.
