Tania Díaz is a Venezuelan journalist and politician currently serving as a member of the National Assembly of Venezuela representing the Capital District. A prominent member of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, she previously served as the Minister of Communication and Information in 2010 and as the first vice president of the National Constituent Assembly from 2018 to 2020. In addition to her legislative career, she has held roles in state media and was appointed rector of the International University of Communications in 2022.
