Tania Sodhi

Tania Sodhi is a Canadian politician and realtor who serves as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick for the riding of Moncton Northwest. Originally from Patiala, India, she practiced law before immigrating to Canada in 2018. Sodhi made history in the 2024 provincial election as the first visible minority elected to the New Brunswick legislature and the second person of South Asian descent to be elected to a legislature in an Atlantic province. In addition to her political and real estate work, she is a mother of two and manages a local day care.
