Tara Lujan is an American politician serving as a member of the New Mexico House of Representatives for the 48th district. A native of Santa Fe, New Mexico, she was appointed to the seat by the Santa Fe County Commission on July 23, 2020, following the resignation of Linda Trujillo. Prior to her legislative career, Lujan worked as the human resources director for the New Mexico State Treasurer's Office and served as a campaign manager for Ben Ray Luján. She was subsequently elected to the House in the 2020 general election.
