Tara Moriarty is an Australian politician serving as a member of the New South Wales Legislative Council since 2019. Following the 2023 New South Wales state election, she was appointed as the Minister for Agriculture, Regional New South Wales and Western New South Wales in the Minns ministry. Prior to her parliamentary career, she held leadership roles in the labor movement, including serving as the Secretary and President of the Liquor and Hospitality Division of the United Voice union and as Chair of Club Plus Superannuation. She has also been active in the Australian Labor Party at the national and state levels, including serving as Senior Vice President of NSW Labor.
