Tasneem Motara

Tasneem Motara is a South African politician and Member of the Gauteng Executive Council for Human Settlements. A member of the African National Congress, she previously served in the National Council of Provinces from 2014 to 2019 as chief whip of the Gauteng delegation. Within the provincial government, she has held several portfolio appointments including MEC for Infrastructure Development and Property Management and MEC for Economic Development. She has also served in leadership roles within the Gauteng ANC, including as deputy provincial secretary.
